Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases Self-emptying bases make the robot vacuum worth the price, especially for those with large homes. It means that you don't need to empty the bin multiple times during a run and it will run more often, and keeps your floors tidy. Its Lidar navigation system does a fantastic job of mapping and you can also use the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. However, it couldn't get around obstacles like furniture legs, and neither did the j7 and Q Revo. 1. iRobot Combo J7+ The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is the first from iRobot. It takes the excellent iRobot J7 robotic vacuum, and adds a small reservoir of water, a robot arm that can raise and lower mopping pads, and some new sensors. The result is a powerful two-in-one cleaner, which we discovered to be superior to mopping-free robotic vacuums. The Combo J7+ does not have the smart mopping features that we have in our top choice, but it still does an excellent job of cleaning. It comes with a highly efficient brush roll that can be used on both hard floors and carpeted rooms. It can get in between rugs and furniture without a problem even on stairs that are steep. And it has a strong suction that we were very impressed with, even though it's not as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's. The Combo J7+ is distinguished from other robot vacuums due to mopping features, which uses the rotating brush to scrub the floors. iRobot calls it SmartScrub and it works by moving back and forth, mimicking the way you scrub your floor with mop. The iRobot App lets you enable it on an individual basis for each room. The j7 Plus is easy to set up and use as other iRobot Robots. It's also easy to maintain. The water tank and the dust bin are both movable, which means they're simple to clean. And the iRobot app lets you view videos about how to maintain different elements of the machine, like changing the mopping pads, and cleaning the dust bin. The only issue is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mop if you have mopping pads attached and its 210 ml water tank is fully filled. If either of those is missing, it just vacuums. The iRobot App allows you to monitor the water tank and receive alerts when it's low. 2. Roborock Q Revo The Q Revo is a low-cost robot that does a fantastic job at mopping and vacuuming. The mopping capabilities are impressive, particularly considering its price. It is effective on hard floors and carpets and can pick up large and small pieces of debris (think hair tangles or cat litter). It also does an excellent job of cleaning up dried spills and messes. It also cleans stairs and other difficult-to-get-stuck areas well. The mopping system makes use of rotating pads to scrub your floors and remove dirt and grime even from stuck-on areas. The pad is also thoroughly dried with 45 minutes of warm air following every cleaning, which helps prevent mold and unpleasant odors. You can control the robot with the Roborock app or your voice to begin mopping or change settings, and much more. The vacuuming is also top-quality. It features an impressive suction and a high-efficiency filter that can handle small to massive debris with ease. The only issue is that it doesn’t work as well on carpets that have pet hair. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power 10 percent of pet hair was still on the test surface. self-emptying robot vacuums is not something you've heard of. The Q Revo has many advantages with its outstanding mopping and cleaning capabilities to its amazing navigation and obstacles avoidance. It's not as good as the higher-end robot mop and vacuum, however, it's an excellent choice for those who is on a budget. It also charges up to 30% faster than previous versions and works with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri Shortcuts. That's a lot of convenience for a tiny amount of money. Yeedi Cube The Yeedi Cube vacuum/mop robot is inexpensive and comes with many great features. It is easy to set up and only took about five minutes. After you have removed the protective tape and plastic, you can scan the QR code on the app to start. The app is simple to use and will guide you through each step. Once it is set up the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning. The app lets you customize your home's layout and create maps that the robot can follow. The app lets you divide rooms into smaller segments so that they can be targeted more precisely. You can make an outline of the kitchen, and another one for the living room. The robot will vacuum the floors at different times in each room. The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots that I've tried. It has an industrial look. Its base station is more modular than others, with the dirty water tank and auto-empty feature on one side, and the vacuum on the other. The mop pads that are reusable are also a separate feature. They fit into the top of robot and are attached to a handle at the front, making it simple to remove and refill. The vacuum is as efficient as any robot I've examined, and it comes with two side brushes instead of the single brush on most models. This increases the vacuum's coverage area and decreases the likelihood of debris being lost around furniture and walls. It isn't perfect in object recognition and is more likely to run into objects like the tassel carpet in my office. 4. iRobot Braava Jet m6 The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is an excellent option to maintain your floors. It does a great job and keeps them looking fantastic. It's not able to vacuum like other hybrids and it can't transfer from hard floors to carpets or rugs. However, due to its long battery life and smart mopping features, this robot is an ideal option for small and medium-sized homes. It works in dry sweeping mode too, cleaning up to 1,000 square feet on a single charge. It can also map your floor plan using the iRobot app, and can clean rooms in sequence with compatible Roomba vacuums. When it is used in wet mopping mode, the m6 uses a precision spray to dampen the floor in straight, efficient lines. It's fascinating to watch, and it was able to remove even the toughest dried-in coffee and juice stains on my floors. It can be set to use less or more water than the maximum amount set in the app. The iRobot app is one of the best available and allows you to sync with your home's wi-fi network simple. It comes with user-friendly features such as scheduling, room partitioning and creating no-go zones that allow you fine control over the machine. It also allows you to check how much battery power remains so that you get an accurate idea of how long it will last before it needs to be recharged and docked. The m6 is available at My Robot Centre in the UK for $499, the iRobot store in the US for $399, and on Amazon (where it's currently being sold for $399). It's available in graphite and white. 5. Shark RV2610WA It's not a secret that robot vacuums and mops are a convenient method of keeping your home tidy without lifting a finger but they also come with hefty price tags. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robot mop and vacuum with XLHEPA Self-Empty base which we tested, costs $699 / PS559 or approximately $1054. Forgo the charging base and you'll have to pay $549 or PS395 / around AU$675. The Shark RV2610WA is a great option for anyone who needs a robot that is able to tackle both vacuuming and mopping. It makes use of sonic mopping to scrub your floors at a rate of 100 times per minute, and it's also capable of deep cleaning stubborn stains using the stain-lifting option that comes with it. The app lets you program the machine to clean on a specific date and time, and comes with an intelligent feature that allows you to control your robot when you're away from home. In terms of vacuuming in the vacuuming department, the Shark performs well and is able to remove most debris, but it's not as impressive on carpets. It's easy to catch pet hair in the brushroll, and the dirt compartment can fill up fairly quickly. There are a few parts that require regular maintenance and replacement. This can lead to regular costs. There are better options on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers better performance both on carpets that are not bare and with a high pile. It's more durable and has a larger dust bin and is able to maneuver around obstacles like electrical cords more easily. The iRobot cleaner is more expensive but worth it if you want an all-purpose vacuum that will do both tasks with ease.
